Effective marketing is basically effective communication. If you are going to send emails or letters in the mail to people in your database in the hopes of generating leads/sales, you need to know how to write effective sales letters. I have seen great sales letters and emails transform a personโ€™s business. We canโ€™t all be great at everything so if this is something you need help with, find someone who is better at it than you are and hire them to do your writing. Double down on what youโ€™re good at. Reviving Dead Leads

Reviving Dead Leads

So you were talking to an interested Buyer for one of your listings some months ago. They came out to your Open House but it wasn’t the home for them. It’s now a few months later, you haven’t reached out to them and you haven’t heard from them either. How do you approach them without sounding sales-y or cheesy? There’s an effective way that requires no long-winded email explanation. It’s 9 key words. Here they are….

An email to this prospective Buyer could look like this. Hi John! I was wondering if you’ve purchased a home in the Westdale neighbour-hood yet?” THAT’S IT!

No intro.

No explanation.

No digging for more information.

No trying to sell yourself.

Try it and let me know what your results were like! This email will revive a dead lead. What happens next is up to you. Do you know how to nurture leads? That’s a skill on its own!
